Ice Cube says that Drake won in his feud with Meek Mill.

“Drake is winning right now,” Cube says to The Daily Beast. “But, you know, Meek could come back.”

The 46-year-old finds the back-and-forth, which has featured Tweets and diss tracks, entertaining.

“It’s funny,” Cube says. “To me it’s like going back to the essence of Hip Hop. Who can rap the best? I don’t think anybody’s going to get jumped or get their asses whooped, but it’s fun to sit back and watch.”

The N.W.A rapper has had his fair share of experience with Rap beef. He recorded 1991’s “No Vaseline” to diss his group members and explain why he went solo. He says that after getting into a physical altercation with Eazy-E‘s artists, he and the late N.W.A member realized fighting was counterproductive to their success.

“We were like, ‘We should just keep this on wax,'” Cube says. “‘No matter how mad we get and how much shit we talk. Let’s keep it on wax because once we take it to the streets it ain’t Hip Hop no more. It’s gangbanging.’ We all fought to try to get out of the gangbang lifestyle and not have to deal with that every day. Why go back?”
