Marcc Rose, who portrays Tupac in the N.W.A film Straight Outta Compton, says that he is working with director John Singleton on a Tupac film.

“Me and John Singleton are trying to brainstorm and form together a proper biopic for him,” Rose tells Yahoo! Movies.

The 23-year-old actor says in the interview, which was filmed before the release of Straight Outta Compton, says that more details about the Tupac movie would become available after Compton‘s August 14 release.

Rose says his role in the N.W.A film might coincide with the Tupac biopic.

“Maybe there’s a sequel,” he says.

Rose says that he was working with Singleton on the Tupac film that the Poetic Justice director left in April.

“When Singleton exited so did I,” he says. “If the rights to the biopic are returned to ‘Pac’s mom, Afeni Shakur, John Singleton and I will be reassociated with it.”

Director Gobi Rahimi is also making a film about Tupac’s last week alive, entitled 7 Dayz.

Our time will come.
