Norbes Gets Punched, Daylyt Writes A Song About It

URL staff member Norbes (AKA the self-proclaimed "most hated man in battle rap") was attacked at an AHAT battle rap event in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday night (Aug. 15), apparently by battler D Gunna. Footage of the incident appeared online Sunday morning and was quick to spread.

D Gunna's name won't be familiar to many fans, though they may remember his 2013 Proving Grounds performance against Illanoiz where he choked and gave up.

The same day that footage dropped, Gunna called in to an episode of BattleRap Arena to confront Norbes and vent his frustration.

Norbes is known for getting into arguments online and over the radio, and as the gatekeeper of the Proving Grounds, often controls the fate of which up-and-comers get a shot on URL. He addressed the incident on Instagram, taking it lightly and promising a blog detailing everything.

The Internet quickly went nuts when the footage dropped, with commentary being split between rejoicement and concern.
