Pop Smoke’s posthumous album Faithis dropping Friday (July 16), and fans can’t wait for the day to arrive. There’s a lot of expectation going into the new album, especially after the wildly successful Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon continues to dominate the Billboard charts.
On Monday (July 13), Pop Smoke’s team unveiled the album cover, which features a close-up black-and-white photo of the late Brooklyn rapper. The “faith” tattoo above his left eyebrow is highlighted to signify the title of the album. Unlike Virgil Abloh’s uninspired attempt with Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon, the cover for Faith has been well-received by fans.

The cover uses an original picture by a photographer going by the name of Flixz, who snapped photos of Pop Smoke at a club. Pop Smoke wore a collared unbuttoned Dior shirt with a set of chains dripping in diamonds in the original image. Flixz took to his Instagram to celebrate the enormous opportunity.

Fans were treated to an early listening of Faith when Pop Smoke’s team put up posters featuring QR codes that unlocked snippets in various locations in New York City and Los Angeles. People discovered a few of the posters and shared the snippets online, where they quickly went viral.
